St. Elizabeth Crusaders "vs" St. John The Baptist Catholic School

After 82 years, Maryknoll School finally has its own indoor gym. The Clarence T.C. Ching foundation donated three million to help fund construction of the gym, and today it is named after him. I was invited by one of the parents, Mr. Bryan Arce to attend today's game between the St. Elizabeth Crusaders and St. John The Baptist Catholic School in division 2 of the Catholic Schools playoffs. His daughter, Chantelle Arce, #14 is a point guard for the St. Elizabeth School Crusaders. The Crusaders played a great game today, and Chantelle stole the ball in the fourth period with 9 seconds on the clock (photo right) to score the last point against St. John The Baptist Catholic School. From the beginning, the Crusaders displayed great team work and came thru for a final score of 39-22 against St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Congratulations goes out to Coach James Von Rohr of the St. Elizabeth "Crusaders" and his girls basketball team for job well done. Special recognition goes out to #14, Chantelle Arce who scored 24 points and had the most baskets in today's game today. See more photos, "click here".
