"One Hundred and Fifty-Five Years of Service"

On Saturday, July 24, 2010, NALC Branch 860 held their retirement party at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & SPA in Honolulu. The guest speaker was NALC Vice President, Mr. George C. Mignosi (photo top left), who was appointed by NALC President Fredric V. Rolando in July 2009. He began his postal career in 1979 as a clerk, but soon moved on to the carrier craft and became a member of branch 41 in 1980. At today’s NALC Branch 860 retirement party, he presented several awards to the following retirees, Alvin Yoshikawa, 47 years, Stanley Asato, 51 years and Henry Kukona Jr 57 years of service that adds up to “One Hundred and Fifty-five Years of Service among all three. Also, Julie Ishibashi was awarded the Sam Hipa award, and Geri Nako received the Shop Steward of the Year award for the second time and Yoshio Chinen 50 year Gold Card.
