Moanalua Na Menehue Homecoming Game and Football Team "Celebrate" 46-7 Win Over the Kaiser Cougar's

It was a great night for Lee Arakawa #33, kicker for Moanalua Na Menehune varsity at their Homecoming game, Friday, September 9, 2011 at Moanalua High School against the Kaiser Cougars 46-7. It was also another win for the Na Menehune who is now 3rd in the OIA Red East standing. Next week, they face off with the Kailua Surfriders who lost this week to the Farrington Governor's 25-0.

The varsity game started off with a drive by the Na Menehune to the 30 yard line and a field goal by #33 Lee Arakawa (photo above) who drove the ball through the uprights making it 3-0. It was pretty much Moanalua throughout the game with SB #1 C. Akana, SB #5, J. Laudato, WR #17 D. Lambert, WR #3 C. Aragon and RB #20 K. Yanai who ran in for the TD's and win over the Kaiser Cougars in front of a packed Moanalua HS Homecoming game crowd. The only TD by Kaiser was by QB #15 C. Clivio and kicker #10 M. Nakagawa (WR). Congratulations also to the Moanalua JV team and special recognition to QB #15 Micah Kaneshiro 33-20 for their win over the Cougars.

Congratulations to coach Arnold Martinez, his coaches and the varsity team and junior varsity for a well played defensive and offensive game and to Kaiser Cougars Coach William Lobendahn, his coaches and his players.
