The OIA Championship Tesoro Hawaiian Cup Awarded to Waianae High School


The OIA High School Paddling Championship was held at Ke'ehi Lagoon on Saturday, January 18, 2014. The top 6 qualifying for the HHSAA Varsity Boys are Kalaheo, Kaiser, McKinley, Kailua, Moanalua and Kalani. The Top 6 qualifying for the HHSAA Varsity Girls are Anuenue, Kalaheo, Waianae, Moanalua, Leilehua and Kaiser. The top 6 qualifying for the HHSAA Varsity Mixed are Kaiser, Kalaheo, Moanalua, Kaimuki, McKinley and Waianae that will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2004.


The over all combined High School Boys and Girls crews for "Outstanding Performance" at the OIA Annual Championship Outrigger Canoe Regatta which has accumulated points in the boys, girls and mixed crews are counted throughout the year and this award goes to the team that accumulated 141 points through the regatta season and the Tesoro Hawaiian Cup (photo above) award goes to Waianae High School.
