What a game between the Moanalua Na Menehune Girls and the Kapolei Hurricane 2014 OIA Division One Girls Volleyball Championship held at McKinley High School Gym. The Na Menehune defeated Nanakuli to advance to tonight's game, determined to "do or die." Na Menehune took the first two sets (25-16, 25-20) and just when your think it was over, hold on to your hats, Kapolei came roaring back like a hurricane and blew away the next two sets (25-20, 25-23). Into the 5th set, Kapolei took the lead 3-0, Moanalua came back 1-4 and then it was a roller coaster ride 10-10, 12-12, 12-13, and finally Na Menehune, Jojo Kruize and Lia Gaogao said enough is enough, and held off the Hurricanes to end the game 15-13 for the title and the 2014 OIA Division One Championship.
The New City Nissan HHSAA D-1 Semifinals, KS-Kapalama vs Kapolei ended KS-Kapalama win over Kapolei, 25-12, 25-14, 25-11. Moanalua vs Punahou ended with a win by Punahou, 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 25-18. As for the HHSAA D-1 Championship, Punahou took the 2014 New City Nissan Championship over KS-Kapalama, 25-21, 25-15, 20-25, 25-21. OIA Game Photos "
